old girls and new

this isn't an update on anita's pending visit to london.

i think i've mentioned somewhere about not liking late night messages/calls. cos it's normally bad news. like who would want to call you late at night if not to tell you of something urgent right? like someone's passing, or tayar pancit and they need your help, or .. you get the picture lah.

i got a message late on tuesday night. my heart skipped a beat at hearing the message tone on my cell. as it turned out, the message was with some sense of urgency. only to tell of some good news. phew! : )

if you hadn't heard it yet, our dear friend syazana sani has given birth to her second child. it's a girl. her first is a boy. lucky her. and as far as our mini communication went, syazana seemed fine.

i haven't followed up with another call or a visit yet. i do hope to be able to do it soon.

i made a call to hanisa the day after. my calls were missed by the mummy who was attending to her baby. she managed to answer only at my 3rd try. heh. i did tell her to pop in here more often and invited her to write. so heads up everyone! let's look forward to some write-ups from hanisa. hehe.
